Before you can vote, you have to register. You must do this 30 days before the election if you want to vote in that election.
1. Get a Registration Form
To vote in Arkansas, you must fill out a paper form first. You can get this form from:
- Benton County clerk’s office
- The Arkansas Secretary of State (call 1-800-482-1127)
- DMV or revenue office
- Public library
- Disability agency
- Military recruitment office
You can also:
- Ask for the form to be mailed to you
- Print the form at home (in English or Spanish)
2. Fill Out Your Form
When you fill out the form, you need to:
- Provide your driver’s license number OR
- Provide the last four digits of your Social Security number OR
- Check a box if you don’t have either of these
3. Turn In Your Form
You must turn in your form at least 30 days before an election to vote in that election.

4. Check Your Registration
After your form is processed, you will get a voter registration card in the mail. This might take several weeks.
